10 Ways to Find a Job After Graduation

1. Choose a first step.

Start planning your job search strategy by deciding what you are going to do. The first step could be getting third party professional input from a career guide, looking at what kind of vacancies are out there or some other preparatory step that will set you up for the job hunt to come.

2. Find out your interests. 

If you are interested in a certain industry, then think about why you are interested in it and start exploring it. There is going to be something that draws your interest to a particular sector in the economy. 8. Find evidence of your suitability. 

Go deeper into your research of target employer. This time, look at why the organization could be interested in you. Why would those people choose you over hundreds of other graduate candidates? By finding out as much as you can about the company, you will come across corporate values that align with yours and business needs that only your unique set of skills and qualities can meet.

9. Present yourself well.

Think about how you are going to project yourself once you are at the interview stage. Consider how to make sure you look like a professional when you turn up. get properly dressed. Check with the employer you are interviewing for if you are not sure of its interview dress code.

10. Leverage your uniqueness.

Speaking of unique combination of talents, how much do you understand what that uniqueness is and how it is useful to the companies you are interested in? Think about how you can bring that uniqueness to their attention. For instance, highlight the different strengths and experiences you have on your CV and on your social media profiles.
